Jordyn JagolinzerJordyn Jagolinzer is the evening news anchor for WGGB-TV, Western Mass News, in Springfield, Massachusetts. She co-anchors the 4, 5, 6, 10 and 11 p.m. shows.
She transitioned from the morning show to evenings in August of 2019. Prior to her move, Jordyn was the morning traffic anchor for two years and co-hosted the noon lifestyle show, "Better." Since Jordyn began co-anchoring at night, the 6 p.m. newscast was nominated for "best evening newscast" in a small market for the 2021 New England Emmy Awards. A graduate and Dean's List student from Penn State University, Jordyn is happy to be in her home state of Massachusetts doing what she loves. She received her bachelors degree in 2017 in Broadcast Journalism. She also has three minors in Business, Spanish and International Studies. Jordyn also attended the University of Alicante in Alicante, Spain for a semester. She is now conversationally fluent in Spanish. Previously a reporter and anchor for WPSU-TV, the Centre County Report, Jordyn reported on a variety of topics from Pennsylvania's growing opioid epidemic to unsafe drinking water conditions. She previously interned at WPRI-TV and WJAR-TV in Providence, RI and hosted and produced her own lifestyle program on local cable access channel 9 in Seekonk, MA. Her favorite part of her job is being able to make sincere connections with people in the community. When she's not spending the night with viewers at home, you can find her volunteering for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hampden County, trying a new wine for her fan-favorite Wine Down segment, or traveling to a new place having been to more than 20 countries in the world.
